Man kidnaps child to force mother to marry him

Posted by 498A_Crusader on December 14, 2007

New Delhi, Dec 14: A young man kidnapped a six-year-old girl in an attempt to force her mother to leave her husband and marry him. The man has been arrested, the police said Thursday.

Sonu, 23, a former bus conductor, was arrested Wednesday evening from the Anand Vihar interstate bus terminal while trying to whisk the little girl to his hometown in Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh. The girl was rescued within six hours of abduction.

Sonu told the police that he was working as a conductor on a bus on the route from Bulandshahar to Delhi when he met the mother of the girl five months back at the Bulandshahar bus stand while she was on her way to her in-laws’ house at village Bhainsroli in the same district.

The man became friendly with her and the duo exchanged addresses and remained in touch. #1 About a month back, he left his job and shifted to Delhi to be near her residence. Sonu then began regularly pressing her to discontinue her relationship with her husband and marry him, but she refused,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North Delhi) Devesh Srivastva.

Sonu, #2 a regular visitor at her home, picked up the girl from outside her school Wednesday afternoon. Her parents filed a missing complaint at the Timarpur police station.

The young man also went missing since then.

The police said they had laid a trap at bus stations and railway stations, suspecting that the accused might have taken the girl to his native place.

The police official said Sonu had kidnapped the girl in order to pressurise the mother to marry him.

Extra Pleasure of the feel of betrayal, life of a prostitute and becoming a nymphomaniac and most of all a lot of money to cater to her Whims and Fancies!!!

Women still need to be paid their prostitution fees by the husband when she is enjoying every single man in town – guess thats what the lawmakers too do!!

    This is so disgusting.

Why doe she need to exchange her address with a bus conductor?

What is the need for the guy to regularly visit her in the absence of her hsuband? Anything other than illicit relationship?

Now she can file false dowry case on her husband and get alimony.

    Thanks,

Why is everyone assuming that she was having an affair with Sonu? Maybe he was just a nice person and they exchanged addresses after several conversations. Maybe Sonu used to visit when her husband was at home. Is it her fault if he fell in love with her and became obsessed?

Why is she being labeled a prostitute?

Maybe her husband was being horrible to her. This story does not in any way insinuate that she was being unfaithful or disloyal to her husband.

    //Bitch, Sorry Biche, We never called her PROSTITUTE;
it is you labeled her; women know women better right ?
Here People have right to express thier views; as you wrote what you think right; if whatever you say is right, then why not what majority says too.
but media will not write all this, they always portrait women as SAINTS, even when they are….

    Hi,
Its wrong in blaming the woman without knowing the whole truth.
If she was having an affair with sonu then things might have been smooth. He could have blackmailed her.And she could have fooled her Husband too
As it is kidnapping thet means the woman was resiisting some thing the other man wanted might be she just wanted to be friends with him, you dont sleep with everybody you talk nicely to this is a wrong conclusion.
People hare find it very easy to use sharp words please think twice in your life havent u been friendly with any stranger.
As it is mentioned its not a secret relationship.
Instead of punishing the criminal its a pity that the woman is questioned for her integrity .
Might be due to this fear many women do not want to tell others about the molestations that they face as they fear at the end they are the ones who will be blamed

    Grow Up,
    Understand
    Seena.
//We seen more, everywhere when married women having affair with other men, other women support them, who also live in same life style. and they say these women wanted a freind in other men… how funny.
If her husband talk to other women, with official issue also thier wives blame and make such big drama and Brand them having Affair with other women.
and When we produce clear proof that this lady having Affair, cheating on her husband also, other Prostitutes says
    GROW UP

  6. SEENA;
Why a Married women share her Address with a Stranger ?

As you say we also know many strnagers; but we never took or asked anyone address.

News itself says they exchnaged address and remainf in TOUCH; that means she wanted to someone on her bed in her husband absense.

  7. There is no doubt that the lady acted inapropriate for a married woman. But let us give her chance to repent and let us not break up that family for the sake of the child.
