Woman who stripped may be put through medical test

Rajkot, July 5: The woman who walked semi-nude on Rajkot roads on Tuesday evening will undergo medical examination. The police believe that 21-year-old Pooja Chauhan took the shocking step as she was mentally unsound, which might have been due to harassment at her husband’s place.
“She appears to be mentally unsound. The police will initiate the procedure for her medical examination,’’ said Gandhigram Police Inspector Sardarsinh Jhala.
Pooja stripped up to her inner clothes on Race Course road and Yagnik Road to protest against the alleged harassment by her husband and in-laws _ and also police inaction. With a baseball bat in hand, she also took a round of the Police Commissioner’s office.
She said she wanted people and police to take notice of her harassment by husband Pratap and in-laws. The police, however, said that Pratap and his father Rupsinh and his sister Hansa had been arrested on Tuesday morning, 10 hours before Pooja staged the drama. Said Commissioner of Police K Nityanandam: “Arrest was made much before the incident in the evening.’’
Pooja’s mother Devuben said her daughter might be mentally upset because of the harassment. “She had been complaining about mental and physical harassment. She had a love marriage with Pratap four years back and the couple have a three-year-old girl child,’’ said Devuben.On Tuesday, the police handed Pooja over to her parents residing in Laxminagar after she refused to stay at Kanta Stri Vikas Gruh, a home for unsupported women.
Nityanandam said that the police met Pooja’s parents, who expressed concern over her mental condition.
“But when Pooja herself refused to saty at Kanta Stri Vikas Gruh, the police gave her custody to the parents,’’ he said. But on Thursday, Pooja along with her daughter moved out of her parents’ home.
“I don’t know where she has gone,’’ said Devuben. She was also not found at her Shastrinagar residence, where she had been living with her daughter for past 12 months.
On Tuesday evening while walking on the streets, Pooja kept on saying: “My in-laws want to marry off their son with someone else. That is why they are harassing me.’’ She also publicly abused the police for ‘’doing nothing’’.
This was the second time that Pooja tried to catch the public attention. Two days prior to that, she poured kerosene on her body and came to the crime branch to make complaints against her in-laws.

1. She tried to commit suicide and book a case u/s 304B against her hinlaws and husband. but failed, that’s why she tried this trick to grab attention. Threat to suicide amounts to BLACKMAILING AND IS A CRIME u/s 384 and 120B. SHE MUST BE PUNISHED FOR THIS. + Indescent behaviour in public is a crime. If my wife is harrasing me, IT DOESNT MEAN THAT I START WALKING NAKED ON THE ROAD. There are some laws for her and MANY ORGANISATIONS.
2. She looks mentally unsound : Means the husband HAS THE RIGHT TO DIVORCE AND REMARRY, then why the hell police entertain dowry complaint.
3. SOON AFTER THE INCIDENT, SHE IS MISSING FROM HER RESIDENCE AND POLICE IS NOT ABLE TO TRACE HER ???? What a joke ??? our indian police cant locate the legal terrorists ?
LETS ALL KEEP A STRONG WATCH OVER THE CASE AND IF THE CASE FOUND TO BE FALSE, LET SUE NCW TOO FOR SUPPORTING LEGAL TERRORISM.

just wait for few more years, this kind of ‘Tandav’ will become common, and husbands and their parents have to dance on the tune of this ‘Tandav’ of wife, other wise they will have to go behind the bars.

Wonder why NCW and thier support always want to save gurd the adultrous women and naked owmen, where a lot of women do not have a piece of cloth to cover thier body, but they are more interested to save gurd those people who do not want to wear the cloth?

We demand of immediate Punishment to that women as per IPC LAW, such type of women are the cancer of our society and creater of Father less Society.
The women do not forget to give the threat to take the LAW in hand, if so, waht will be the reaction of the Supreme court, if all the Husabnd also take the LAW in thier hand ?
Why our Chief Justice are keeping mum.. is he became a Modern Ravan?
How he tolerate such type of nonsense and Naked Tandav activity by our Women orginasations?
Still he have not give the clarification why Justice Dingra had been transfered from the Criminla court?
Is our Chief Justice want to work as per NCW and women orginastions direction?
If , so let him deceler that in India.. Husabnds will not get any Justice as per LAW.. let them also take the LAW in had.
Is he became blind that the husabnd beating in open media became a common story today?

She has taken a Brave decision which might not be supported in our society, but still to avoid harrasement and to create awareness such things are happening around us and people are not bothered to stop this. All my sympathis and support goes to the brave lady.

Well mockery by the men of our society , declaring her of unsound mind really stresses the ground reality that we do not want to be cajoled out of comfort zones to face the bitter truth that though we women have surely occupied the highest position of a Mnc,but still certain segment of society remain sleeping in the slumber of ignorance so brutalities are still carried on. Nothing has changed but everything goes on with a vaneer of sophistication, under the euphemism of modernisation.

There are two side of this accident,One side is same full for all relatives of Pooja.
