Dowry death FIRs : 299 Nos
Please note :
- Even the above are only FIRs AND NOT PROVEN cases.
- There are umpteen cases where suicides by women are claimed to be Dowry related, while myriad other problems NOT excluding adultery, past love, un sound mind of woman, depression etc are the real cause behind the woman’s suicide.
