Dowry cases:
The Sadar and Mukerian police registered two cases of harassment and torture against in-laws for dowry. As per Gurinder Kaur, one of the victims in Chhauni Kalan, her husband Amandeep Singh and mother-in-law Kulvir Kaur tortured and maltreated her for more dowry.
The Sadar police registered a case against the son and the mother.
In the second case Meenu of Railway Colony, Bhangala, has a same story against her husband Ravinder Kumar, father-in-law Bachan Lal and mother-in-law Lajaya Devi. A cse has been registered.

In both cases the young wife has just complained and the husband and husband’s family are under arrest. In India an arrest is an utter humiliation of a household. Law abiding citizens are shamed in public by these arrests THAT ARE BEFORE THE CASE REACHES THE COURT !!!
We are NOT against arrest, BUT WE SEEK A PROPER TRIAL before arrest and defamation of elders
All Husbands are NOT rapists
All Men are NOT criminals
When police enters a house the peace and tranquility of that house is shattered
Thousands of such Criminal cases are gathering dust in the corridors of courts and FAMILIES ARE BEING broken
Fight against ARREST BEFORE A COURT TRIAL.
Fight for due process of law
Fight for A BAN ON POLICE ENTERING MATRIMONIAL disputes
